The Chichester Biltong Company's Biltong is the best in the UK.
Okay, it's hard to categorically prove. But we've got a shiny trophy that says our Biltong is Lekker. That's South African for great. And that's where we are from - South Africa - the home of Biltong. Although, as you've probably guessed, The Chichester Biltong Company is based in the UK, on an organic farm no less.

Our Biltong is made using a secret recipe, handed down through generations. Our Organic and Finest Biltong are made without using any nitrates or nitrites, e numbers, gluten or sugar. Pure British, local grass fed beef from closed herds. Only the very best beef we can buy. The ingredient list is simple; salt, pepper, nutmeg, chilli, garlic, coriander, ground cloves and distilled vinegar. THAT’S IT!*

*Our main Biltong range does contain sodium nitrate, but at less that 1 gram per 1000g of Biltong, it is “AS LOW AS WE CAN GO”! Sodium Nitrate is also found naturally occurring in many herbs and spices and food stuffs! This helps keep the biltong fresher for longer.
