Give 25p, give 50p, give £1...and we will put 100% of your donation towards sending cows to Africa. At £150 per cow, just imagine the smiles on their faces.

We have the opportunity to give something back with the help of our thousands of loyal customers, so please give whatever you can to help families who have so much less then we do!

You can donate right here on our website or, if you'd prefer, via JustGiving/TheChichesterBiltongCompany.

Proceeds will be going to the Present Aid, via Christian Aid, where we shall be buying cows to send to developing countries.

A cow not only provides families with milk but also give them a source of income to lead onto a brighter future for generations to come.

Our goal is to buy a herd of cows so they can make less fortunate families and communities lead happier, more prosperous lives. We want to be able to make a difference. Plus, after all the biltong we have made, we thought it best to rescue a few cows.

Is providing livestock the best way to help people?

Many of the people at Present Aid have a history of keeping livestock and it is part of their culture. The projects that Present Aid support are run by local partner organisations that assess the most suitable ways to help.

How are the animals cared for?

Owning livestock is a means of providing a living for many people in the developing world. Consequently, making sure the animal is well cared for is a priority for people who own them. The recipients of livestock receive training in animal husbandry and local veterinary care is usually available. It is quite common for the animal to enjoy a better quality of life than its owner.

At the end of every month, we will "round up" to the next cow - even if there's only 50p on the next cow, we'll pay the remaining £149.50 to make sure developing communities get their cow!

All orders received before 9am on any working day will be shipped the same day. Otherwise, they will be processed and dispatched the following working day. Orders received after 9am on Thursdays, will be processed and posted the following Monday due to deliveries.

Your biltong is packed in a protective atmosphere for freshness as standard. Each bag contains an oxygen absorber for added freshness - DO NOT EAT THIS!
